Please note:
• This carnival is not a competitive event as we would like participants to enjoy and have fun playing Netball.
• All netball rules shall apply.
• There shall be a maximum of 12 players per team.
• No Prizes will be awarded (Non-competitive).
• An email will be sent to confirm your participation in the carnival.
• Please understand the Student Umpires are new and they will be using this carnival as their practical test.
Terms and Conditions:
1. Netball Singapore reserves the right to postpone or cancel the carnival.
2. In the event of cancellation, all schools will be informed well in advance.
3. In the event of bad weather, the organiser will make the decision to postpone or cancel the carnival if rain persists after 30 mins of the game time. If the games have started, play will continue if it is a slight drizzle.
4. In the event of cancellation due to inclement weather, the carnival may be postponed to the following Saturday (subject to availability of courts).
5. If a school wishes to withdraw from the carnival, the teacher in-charge has to notify organisers (Netball Singapore) in writing. A letter of notification must be submitted to Netball Singapore at least 1 week before the carnival commences.
6. In the case for late withdrawals (ie less than 1 week notification), schools will still have to pay the carnival fee of $25 which represents the administrative charges for the booking of courts and arrangement of umpires made for the carnival.
7. Each participating school must be accompanied by a teacher who shall remain with the team throughout the duration of carnival. The teacher is responsible for the well-being and behavior of their players and officials.
8. Every school must bring their own first aid kit and playing bibs (at least 2 sets of different colours per team).
9. Netball Singapore will not be responsible or in any way liable for personal injury or accidents or loss of property whatsoever arising, during and after the carnival.
Netball Singapore is the national body for netball in Singapore. Established in 1962, it has become a professionally run National Sport Association today.
