Pre-requisites for Level 1 Coaching CourseΒ 
  • Age 16 and above
  • Valid Standard First Aid (with AED) Certificate
  • At least an 80% score on theΒ Netball Rules Test
  • Minimum 10 coaching hours clocked within a year from completion of your Foundation Coaching Course (Coaching Hours Log Form)
  • Completion of SportSG-ED modules (unless exempted)
  • Participants are required to arrange their own players for assessments.
  • Participants that wish to attend the Level 1 coaching course must do so within 2 years of attaining your Foundation Coaching Certification (unless MOE PE Trained)

Notes:
  • From 2021 onwards, the VPS component will be integrated into the Level 1 Coaching Course. As a result, participants are no longer required to complete VPS as a pre-requisite. All participants must attend the entire course, regardless of whether they have previously completed the VPS component.

Course Fees

Foundation Coaching Course: $150 (SkillsFuture claimable)

Level 1 Coaching Course: $320 + exams fees*

  • Course fee: $300 (SkillsFuture claimable)
  • SportSG-Ed e-learning platform: $20 (not SkillsFuture claimable)

*Exam Note (Level 1 Coaching Course)

  • All participants (unless exempted) must complete both Foundation Sport Science (FSS) and SG-Coach Theory Exams by CoachSG.
  • Exams will be via self-exam kiosks at Republic Polytechnic (RP)
  • Exams fees are paid directly to RP. More details will be provided.
  • First attempt: $59.95 (GST incl.)
  • Subsequent re-attempt: $54.50 (GST incl.)

Level 2 Coaching Course: $450 (not SkillsFuture claimable)
