Foundation Coaching Course

$150 (SkillsFuture claimable)

Level 1 Coaching Course

$320 + exams fees*

  • Course fee: $300 (SkillsFuture claimable)
  • SportSG-Ed e-learning platform: $20 (not SkillsFuture claimable)

*Exam Note (Level 1 Coaching Course)

  • All participants (unless exempted) must complete both Foundation Sport Science (FSS) and SG-Coach Theory Exams by CoachSG.
  • Exams will be via self-exam kiosks at Republic Polytechnic (RP)
  • Exams fees are paid directly to RP. More details will be provided.
  • First attempt: $59.95 (GST incl.)
  • Subsequent re-attempt: $54.50 (GST incl.)

NICA (Subsidised course fees for Level 1 Coaching Course)

National Instructors & Coaches Association (NICA) was formed by the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) to be the collective voice to support freelance coaches and instructors from sports, outdoor learning and adventure, visual and performing arts, fitness and wellness, and enrichment, to strengthen skills, standards and opportunities.

In supporting NICA members with skills deepening programmes such as the courses offer by Netball Singapore, NICA members enjoy lower course fees through the Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP). UTAP provides 50% subsidy on the unfunded portion of course fees, capped at $250 for NICA members below 40 years old and $500 for those aged 40 and above.
