Dear Netball Community,
It is with mixed emotions that I announce my decision to retire from my role as Chief Executive Officer of Netball Singapore, effective 31 December 2024. This marks the end of a deeply fulfilling journey with an organization that has been my second home since I joined in 2005.
Over these years, I have had the privilege of working alongside a remarkable team to nurture and elevate netball in Singapore. Together, we have grown participation at all levels, celebrated numerous milestones, and witnessed the extraordinary passion and resilience of our national teams. The recent victory of the Singapore Vandas at the Asian Netball Championship 2024 was a particularly proud moment that encapsulated the spirit of Singaporean netballโdisciplined, dynamic, and unyielding.
Sports have always been a cornerstone of my life. It has been incredibly fulfilling to see netball grow not only as a sport but also as a platform for community engagement, unity, and personal development. I have been fortunate to work alongside many dedicated individuals who have shared this vision, and together, we have made significant strides in both grassroots development and elite performance.
Looking ahead, I am confident that the future of Netball Singapore is bright, and I am excited to see the next phase of growth for the organization and the sport. While I will miss my day-to-day involvement, I remain committed to supporting the netball community and will continue to cheer on the Singapore Vandas and all those who represent our nation on and off the court.
Thank you to the board, our staff, players, volunteers, and supporters for your unwavering dedication and partnership over the years. It has truly been a privilege to serve Netball Singapore and it will continue to hold a special place in my heart.
