Applications are invited for the position of Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Team Manager for the two Netball Singapore Selection Teams – Mission Mannas and Tiger Sharks – for the Netball Super League 2016 Season. 

These are all voluntary positions, although the Team Management share in the NSL prize money depending on the team’s final placing.

Applications for Head Coaching positions will close on FRIDAY, 2 OCTOBER.

Applications for Assistant Coach and Team Manager Roles will close on FRIDAY, 9 OCTOBER (after the Head Coach appointments have been confirmed).

Head Coach Role 
• Level 2 coaching certification required
• Experience with National Age Group or senior club teams essential
• Work with NS Selection Convener Ruth Aitken to select the team, in keeping with the national selection policy.
• Provide appropriate playing opportunities for national players and the international player. 
• Assist NS Technical Director in the appointment of Assistant Coach and Team Manager. 
• Lead the planning and coaching of the team during the pre-season and competition
• Provide direction and support to team officials and team members in terms of roles and responsibilities
• Encourage player and management development via open communication and positive feedback.
• Maintain a strong working relationship with the Technical Director and other team management.
• At all times represent Netball Singapore in a professional manner.

Assistant Coach Role
• Level 1 coaching certification minimum. Ideally working towards Level 2
• Experience with National Age Group or senior club teams an advantage
• Be involved as an observer in the selection process and provide feedback as required, 
• Support the Head Coach and carry out roles and responsibilities as agreed with the Head Coach
• Roles and responsibilities may differ from team to team, however they will involve some aspect of the following in a support role
• Assist with coaching plans
• Assist or lead (as requested) team conditioning sessions, court trainings, match play and other specialist coaching sessions
• Take stats or provide specific feedback to certain players or subgroups as requested by the head coach
• Maintain a strong working relationship with the Technical Director and other team management.
• At all times to represent Netball Singapore in a professional manner.

Team Manager Role
• Experience managing senior teams is an advantage, although other relevant experience will also be considered.
• Assist in the successful organization and operation of the team before and during the competition. 
• Ensure all operational requirements are actioned in a timely manner and to a high standard. This includes – liaising with Netball Singapore Events & Marketing, Game Day bench officials and assisting the Media Manager with arranging player interviews.
• Provide support to the coaching staff and the team. 
• Maintain a strong working relationship with the Technical Director and other team management.
• At all times to represent Netball Singapore in a professional manner.
