Netball Singapore is pleased to announce that National Coach and Technical Director Tara Steel has signed a two-year contract extension, which will see her continue in her role until 31 December 2028.

Since her appointment in March 2025, Tara has overseen significant progress across the national programme and remains committed to building on the strong foundations established over the past season. She will continue to lead initiatives aimed at strengthening the high-performance pathway and driving the continued growth of netball in Singapore.

Netball Singapore CEO Daniel Ho said: “Over the past sixteen months, Tara has contributed positively to Singapore netball through both her technical leadership and her broader impact on Singapore netball. The professionalism, commitment, and relationships she has built across athletes, coaches, staff, and stakeholders have engendered confidence in the direction and culture of our high performance programme.

This extension reflects our confidence in her leadership and our commitment to building for the longer term together. We look forward to continuing our partnership as we work towards the 2027 Netball World Cup, 2027 SEA Games, and 2028 Asian Netball Championships.”
