What was the best advice you were ever given?
Do what makes you happy.
Do you have a saying or motto that you live your life by?
Be true to yourself.
If you were to take up another sport, what would it be, and why?
I would be a tracker because I love running and it’s pretty exhilarating to race.

Abnormal, intense, happy.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully, in 5 years I will be a good doctor who can juggle both work life and netball at the same time.
What was your most significant accomplishment (not netball related) in your life so far?
It would probably be getting into NUS Medicine with a full scholarship to cover my education.
At what age did you start playing Netball?
9 years old.
Which Netball player (local/international) do you look up to?
I look up to Kimberley Ravaillion from the Australian Diamonds.
What sparked your interest in Netball?
I really liked the teamwork on court and the feeling of running, jumping and flying through the air just for a ball.
What position do you play?
C, WA.
If given the chance to play another position, what would it be?
GA
What is your biggest challenge as a Netball player, and what do you do to manage this challenge?
Sometimes I don’t feel very confident in myself on court, but I guess over time and the many competitions, I’ve managed to train myself to adopt a better mindset on court by simply not overthinking.
What do you look forward to accomplishing in the M1 Netball Super League 2016?
Winning the league
Why do you play Netball?
Netball keeps me sane. It is my source of happiness and outlet for destressing when life/studying gets too overwhelming. I would probably go crazy if all I did in life was study medicine.

It has probably shaped the person I’ve become today. All the juggling between school and netball trainings/competitions has taught me a lot about discipline and drive. I would probably be a really lazy and unmotivated person without netball.

Well, I would probably be playing my best for every match for optimal results.

Sneakers

We have a team talk to discuss what we are going to work on for the game and how to counter the opponent’s play.

Micky from my team. I really respect how she keeps her cool on court at all times while still being tenacious at the same time.
What do you think you and your team will do with the money if you girls win?
We will use the money on an awesome team dinner and maybe a team holiday, hopefully?
