1. I am best known to my teammates for……
I think I can be quite loud, and just say whatever is on my mind.Â
2. My lethal weapon on the netball court is……
Diving for the low balls to shooters in the semi-D. I’m also quite short for a circle defender so sometimes attackers might underestimate me getting the lob in to the GS.
3. In my spare time I like to….
Enjoying a good read with a warm latte in a quiet café. During the semester I like running in the gym at school. On the treadmill I can just listen to my music and get away from all the stress of assignments. I also love lying out under the sun to get a nice tan going!
4. My inspiration to continue to excel in netball comes from…..
Competing. I’m very competitive, and I like putting myself in positions where I have to test myself, and push my limits. The comradery with my teammates in SRC is a great bonus! They really add a lot of fun to the process, and are a great support system through the whole competition experience- which can be quite daunting on its own.Â
5. If I could be a celebrity for one day, I would be…. And why
Eva Gutowski, she’s a Youtuber. She wears trendy outfits and drinks Starbucks all day. I’m pretty basic, I like things like that.Â
6. My match day preparation includes….
I try to get a good sleep the night before, and not eat too much in the couple hours leading up to the match. I also spend some time visualizing- running through some game situations and good defensive moves in my head that I intend to use during the game. I do my make up before I leave the house too. When I look good, I feel good.Â
7. If you won 1 million dollars, what would you do with it…
When I was little, I used to want to set up an orphanage or children’s home of sorts in a third world country. I might use the money to start that up. I’d definitely use some of it to go snowboarding.
8. The thing I look forward to most about Singapore is…..
Family and friends! The best things in life aren’t things.
Netball Singapore is the national body for netball in Singapore. Established in 1962, it has become a professionally run National Sport Association today.
