She has also represented the Suva district at the National Championship; where she plays club netball for the Fiji Sports Council team. Last year, Unisi played a pivotal role as Goal Shooter and Goal Attack for Suva in the final against the Nasinu district side during the Crest Chicken National Netball Championship. Unisi, as she is commonly known, started playing netball at the age of eight and has never looked back. The 22-year-old is looking forward to playing in the Singapore Netball League; and hopes to use this experience to develop her skills in the sport. Unisi will play for BB Kings Vipers.
JELOMA Whippy (Fiji) 18, was discovered playing Goal Shooter for St John’s College during the Crest Chicken National secondary school competition in 2010. Fresh out of school, Jeloma admits that Netball is her one and only love. So much so that she has decided to defer her studies to play in the Singapore Netball League for five-eight weeks. Although, she has recently started getting serious about the sport, Jeloma aims to be a crucial member of the team in the next WNC. Jeloma usually play Goal Attack. Jeloma will play for Mighty Mannas.
