*Only Netball Singapore Club Members are eligible to take part in this event. Umpires will be applying the latest INF new rules 2016 for all categories except for the school categories.
**From 1st January 2016, it will be a requirement that all teams participating in our events are to be Netball Singapore club members. As such, from 2016, teams have to be registered as a club member to take part in events such as the Daisy Tan Carnival, National League, Pesta Sukan, Fast5 and the Year End League. The Beach Netball and Corporate Netball Challenge are social events, and thus remain open to the public/corporations.

Format
Round Robin for 1st Round followed by Single Knock-out from Round 2 onwards. *Netball Singapore reserves the right to change the format without prior notice.
Duration of Play
4 quarters of 5 minutes each. No intervals between first-second & third-fourth quarters. Half-time interval of 3 minutes. *Duration may be subjected to change

Teams are required to submit their entries on the official entry form provided or via our website.
Each team shall register a minimum of 5 players and no more than 10 players.
All team players’ names must be submitted before the closing date. No changes will be allowed to the team list after the closing date.

If you are submitting your Entry Form by fax, please call 63465063 Ext 119/120 to verify that your entry form and name list are received. No appeals shall be entertained because of transmission error.
Tournament fees remain payable in the case of withdrawal after closing date.
5) Scoring and Time Keeping
Central Timing will be kept by Netball Singapore.
Each team must provide 1 scorer for each match. Scorers must tally their scores at the end of each match.
Captains shall inform scorer of their choice of power play quarter before the start of the match.
Point System – Win 2 points, Draw 1 point, Loss 0 point. Team giving a walk over will be given -2 points, and the opponent 2 points.
The team captains must request to the Umpires to endorse the scorecards and submit immediately to the Tournament officials.
Teams that are late for 2 minutes will be deemed to have given a walkover
6) Event Administration
Random checks of players’ identity may be conducted in the duration of the event.
All protests or complaints must be submitted in writing within 2 hours of the incident and must be accompanied by the protest fee of $50.00.
Netball Singapore reserves the right to decide on postponement in the case of inclement weather or other circumstances.
In the event that the carnival may not be completed on time on 17th November, the games will be stopped, and the final results will be determined by a penalty shootout amongst those teams still in the running for the finals. The same will apply if the event has to be moved to the Reserve date in exceptional circumstances.
4 shooters from each team will have 1 shot each from a designated point decided by Netball Singapore. A maximum of 2 men are allowed in the shootout, and no limit to the number of women. In the event of a draw after the 4 shots, the highest drawn teams will continue shooting in a sudden death format (1 further throw for each team using the same 4 shooters in rotation) until the winner is determined.
7) First Aid
First-aiders and ambulance will be on standby during the event.
8) Liability
Netball Singapore and its sponsors shall not be liable for any accidents, injuries or losses of personal properties that may have been suffered during this event.
