* 25% of the registration fees will go towards supporting AWWA – a Singapore-based social service organisation serving over 6,000 of the disadvantaged across life stages – this will be the second year we’re raising funds for their new school. AWWA is the official charity beneficiary of Deloitte Pesta Sukan 2019.

Format
Round Robin for 1st Round and Double Knockout for 2nd Round for top team of the groups.

Prizes and Giveaways
Top 3 teams in the Women’s Open, Women’s Under 23, Mixed Open and Corporate Mixed Open categories will be awarded with the following cash prizes:
1st – $1000
2nd – $400
3rd – $200
Top 3 teams in the school categories will be awarded 12 medals each.
One set of Bibs will be provided, and teams are required to wear them for all matches
An event photo booth which participants can bring back instant photo souvenirs.
Exhibition Matches
There is a Charity Exhibition Match on 31st August 2019, 9.15am. This is by invitation only. Deloitte will be donating $500 for every goal scored during this match. All proceeds from this match will go towards supporting the second AWWA School building fund.
Entry Form & Team List Terms and Conditions
Teams are required to submit their entries on the official entry form provided or via our website.
All team players’ names must be submitted before the closing date.
Tournament fees are to be paid before the closing date. This can be by Cash, Cheque or Bank transfer

All cheques should be made payable to NETBALL SINGAPORE.
Each team shall register a minimum of 7 players and no more than 12 players.
Any changes made to the team list after the closing date must have a valid reason (for example, injury) and must be approved by Netball Singapore in writing.
Entries can be sent by email, please call 63465063 Ext 119/120 to verify that your entry form and name list are received. No appeals shall be entertained because of transmission error.
Tournament fees remain payable in the case of withdrawal after closing date.
Each Player is only allowed to play for one team in each category
Categories
The Carnival will be divided into 6 categories – Schools B/C Division, Women’s Open, Women’s Under 23, Mixed Open and Corporate Mixed Open.
Registration is limited to 30 teams per category or a maximum of 50 teams per day.
Eligibility for Schools B/C Division (Competitive)
‘B’ Division – Players born in the year 2002 or after
‘C’ Division – Players born in the year 2005 or after
Please bring along identification document to verify age when requested by Tournament Officials
Eligibility for Women’s Under 23 Teams
Players born in the year 1996 or after.
Eligibility for Mixed Open Teams
A minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 Male players are allowed to take to the court at any one time. The Male players must play either as GS or GA; GK or GD; C, WA or WD. One male player per area of court.
Eligibility for Corporate Mixed Open Teams
A minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 Male players can take to the court at any one time. The Male players must play either as GS or GA; GK or GD; C, WA or WD. One male player per area of court.
A maximum of 2 national players will be allowed per team.
Scoring and Time Keeping
Central Timing will be kept by Netball Singapore.
Point System – Win 2 points, Draw 1 point, Loss 0 point and deduction of 2 points for awarding a Walkover.
Event Administration
Random checks of players’ identity may be conducted in the duration of the event.
Protests must be submitted in writing within 48 hrs of the incident and must be accompanied by the protest fee of $50.00
Netball Singapore reserves the right to change the date, time and venue when necessary without prior notice.
In the event that the carnival may not be completed in time during the reserve day, the games will be stopped and the final results will be determined by a penalty shootout amongst those teams still in the running for the finals.4 shooters from each team will have 1 shot each from a designated point decided by Netball Singapore. In the event of a draw after the 4 shots, the highest drawn teams will continue shooting in a sudden death format (1 further throw for each team using the same 4 shooters in rotation) until the winners are determined.
First Aid
First-aiders and ambulance will be on standby during the event
Players are advised to purchase personal accident insurance.
Liability
Netball Singapore and our sponsors shall not be liable for any accidents, injuries or losses of personal properties that may have been suffered during this event.
Netball Singapore and our sponsors have the right to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of the Event for any legitimate purpose, including commercial advertising.
