Netball NSW Waratahs storm into title contention
The Netball NSW Waratahs have marked themselves as real 2010 premiership contenders with a four-goal win over Queensland Fusion in Round 5 of the New Idea ANL.
With less than two weeks until the Grand Final, the race to the title is hotly contested with Victorian Fury, Queensland Fusion, the AIS and now Netball NSW Waratahs hovering near the top of the ladder.
In other matches of the round, the Canberra Darters, South Australia, Netball NSW Blues and Western Australia all had a weekend of mixed results; Victorian Fury, Netball NSW Waratahs and the AIS recorded all wins in Round 5 while Singapore missed out on a win this round.

Fury steal top spot on New Idea ANL ladder
Victorian Fury have moved into top spot of the New Idea Australian Netball League ladder after an impressive weekend of netball in the Northern Territory.
In a round where the three of the league’s top teams headed north, Fury emerged the competition’s leader with a four-goal victory over the previously undefeated Queensland Fusion.
Unable to deliver a win to their home crowd, Territory Storm still treated its fans to some thrilling netball with the home favourites going down to the Australian Institute of Sport by six-goals on Sunday.
In other matches over the round, Netball NSW Waratahs maintained third spot with a convincing win over the Canberra Darters, while Western Australia, Tasmania, Netball NSW Blues and South Australia had a weekend of mixed-results in Sydney.
Netball Singapore is the national body for netball in Singapore. Established in 1962, it has become a professionally run National Sport Association today.
