We are looking to recruit coaches that are willing to take up the U14, U17 & U19 Age Group Squads for 2020.
 
NETBALL AGE GROUP PROGRAMMES 2020
 
14&U Age Group
The 14&U Inter-School Competition will be held in Term 3 from 2020. This means the inter-School zonals will start in early July, and the National Round from around 14 August 2020. As such the 14&U Age Group programme will be adjusted in 2020 as follows:
 
1) Zone 14&U Squads
• Selection Trials – 18th January 2020 from 9.00am at OCBC Hall 3.
• Training twice a week from week of 21st January to 21st February 2020
• Or 1 Inter-zone League match and 1 training per week.
 
2) National Age Group Squad – players will be selected from the 4 zone squads.
• 2 trainings per week from 26th February to 18th March 2020 – 4 weeks
• A season ending match or short tour on 20th March 2020.
 
3) Zone Development Squads (TBC) • Will be formed after the Zone matches are completed in mid-July 2020. This will be for players, born in 2007 or 2006, from schools that did not make it to the national round, or any players not in their school team in the national round. This to provide development opportunities for players for the following year where all these players will be invited to the 14&U Zone Age Group selections the next year.
• Zone Development Squads will be selected on 20th July
• 1 training a week until 30th August (the end of national round)

17& U Age Group
The 17&U Age Group Programme for 2020 will consist of:
 
1) Zone Development Squads – for players from schools not in the national round

• Selection trials for zone development teams- 14 March 2020
• Training – once a week from 17 March to 21 April 2020.

 
2) Zone Squads – formed with all players in that zone

• Selection trials for the Zone teams Saturday 25 April 2020
• Training – 1 to 2 times and 1 National League game a week from 25 May to about 8th July – about 7 weeks.

 
3) National Age Group Squad – to be selected from the 4 zone squads.
• The Kuala Lumpur Tour will tentatively be from 14th to 16th August, which will also be the end of season for the 17&U programme.
 
2 trainings per week from 14th July to about 11th August.

19&U Schools Age Group
The following will be the programme for the 19&U Schools Squad 2020:
• Selection Trials on 3 June 2020 (7pm to 9pm) at OCBC Arena Hall 3
• Trainings and competition (twice a week) will start from about 5th June to 10th July 2019
 
19& U Tertiary Age Group
The following will be the programme for the 19&U Tertiary Squad 2020:
• Selection trials to be held on 16th March 2020 at OCBC Hall 3 from 7pm
• Training once a week from 18 March to 29 Apr, twice a week from 6 May – 25 May.
• Training and 1 NL game a week from 25 May to 10 July – 7 weeks
 
• The National 19&U team will be named on 13th July. This will be a combined team of players from the 19&U Schools squad and the 19&U Tertiary squad.
• The National 19&U team will train (twice a week) from the week of 14th July to about 11th August.
