More than 2000 vociferous fans almost tore the roof off the Toa Payoh Sports Hall when Mrs Lim Hwee Hua\, Minister of State for Finance and Transport presented the Challenge Trophy to Co-Captains Pearline Chan & Jean Ng on Saturday. \nThe finals match was a back and forth encounter that had the crowd on the edge of their seats. The atmosphere in the sports hall was electrifying \, with the home crowd cheering the Singapore team on throughout the match. Singapore pushed themselves to eventually win by a slim five-point margin. \nBut it’s not over for the Singapore A girls.
