  • Netball Singapore (then Singapore Women’s Netball Association (SWNA) was formed and led by first President, Mrs Tan Yoon Yin

1966

  • Mrs Daisy Tan became President of SWNA

1967

  • Took part in 2nd World Championship held in Perth, Australia

1975

  • Took part in 4th World Championship held in Auckland, New Zealand

1983

  • Hosted 6th World Championship in Singapore
  • 1st in Asia

1992

  • Mrs Ivy Singh-Lim became NS President

1994

  • 1st/5 in 1st Asian Youth Championship held in Hong Kong

1999

  • 12th/26 in World Championship held in Christchurch, New Zealand
  • 1st in Asia
  • Mrs Ivy Singh-Lim became President of AFNA

2000

  • Homeground - Netball Singapore LifeHub located at 6 Stadium Boulevard was officially opened on 23 January by Mrs Ivy Singh-Lim
  • Turning Professional - Netball Super League (NSL) was formed
  • 9th/20 in 4th World Youth Championship held in Cardiff, UK
  • 1st in Asia

2001

  • Netball first-time in 21st SEA Games held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
  • Silver medal
  • Hosted International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA) Conference in Singapore

2002

  • AFNA Secretariat relocated to Netball Singapore

2004

  • Mrs Daisy Tan, ex-President of SWNA, passed away on 26 January
  • Netball goes on TV! - NSL Grand Final broadcast on MediaCorp’s Channel 5

2005

  • Mr. Tan Wee Khim became President of Netball Singapore
  • Hosted 6th Asian Championship in Singapore
  • 1st in Asia
  • Launch of Holttumara Singapore Netball Team Orchid

2006

  • Participated in XVIII Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne, Australia
  • Organised the inaugural 4 Nations Netball Cup from 06 - 09 December in Singapore
  • Crowned Champions in the 4 Nations Netball Cup

2007

  • Collaborated with CCAB and Singapore Sports School to jointly develop our National Age Group squads
  • Crowned Champions in the 5 Nations Netball Cup
  • Participated in the World Netball Championships in Auckland, New Zealand
  • IFNA Members Congress awarded the hosting of the World Netball Championships 2011 to Singapore

2008

  • IFNA and Netball Singapore put pen to paper in an official signing ceremony to formalise the hosting agreement of the World Netball Championships

2009

  • Hosted the 1st Beach Netball Festival at Sentosa
  • Ranked 14th at the IFNA Netball World Youth Championship held in Cook Islands
  • Singapore National Team participated in the Australia Netball League

2011

  • Hosted the World Netball Championships in Singapore Indoor Stadium
