M1 and NS Launch the M1 Corporate Challenge

M1 and Netball Singapore team up to launch of Singapore’s biggest corporate netball competition

110913 M1CC 1Singapore, 11 September 2013 - M1 Limited (M1) and Netball Singapore today announced the launch of Singapore’s biggest corporate netball competition - the M1 Corporate Challenge.

To be held on Saturday 16th November at the Kallang Netball Centre, the inaugural M1 Corporate Challenge aims to bring Singapore’s corporates together for an exhilarating playoff.

Alongside the exciting netball matches, the event will appeal to a wide audience with its fun fringe activities, and the 40 mixed teams expected to sign up can look forward to a party atmosphere as a DJ plays court-side, refreshments and a photo booth to capture the memorable moments.

“M1 has supported Netball Singapore across a variety of its programmes including the M1 Schools Challenge League and the M1 Talent Identification Programme, and we are pleased to extend our support to the M1 Corporate Challenge in 2013,” said Mr P. Subramaniam, Chief Marketing Officer of M1.

“The M1 Corporate Challenge is an event that engages with the men and women in the corporate world who enjoy playing sports, socialising with their colleagues and enjoying a fun day out. We are sure this new addition to Singapore’s netball calendar will be well-received.” added Mr Subramaniam.

One team ready to show their sporting prowess and support for the sport are a select team of senior management executives and Members of Parliament and some members of the media joining the line up too. President of Netball Singapore Jessica Tan has sent out her invites and is expecting a strong response in those keen to line up beside and against her on the court.

Ms Tan added, “M1 has been a wonderful supporter of netball over the past five years and we are delighted they see another opportunity to work with us through the M1 Corporate Challenge. It is a great way to communicate with a target audience for M1, as well as for us looking to encourage more working men and women into the sport. The event will be a great social day where we hope many participants will rekindle their love of the game and enjoy doing something a little different with their colleagues.”
